We are introducing this website so that we should be able to communicate and interact with the public. We will ensure that our website is up to date.

Just after a few years of implementing its master plan to develop the Malawi’s Capital by the Lilongwe City Council, the City of Lilongwe has witnessed a boom in real estate investment not only by quantity but by quality too.

The City is now an investment haven boasting of several state of the art and ultra modern infrastructure, from improved, widened and tarred roads to high rise buildings with modern features and facilities befitting a Capital City. These include the new Lilongwe Stadium which is expected to be completed in 2015. To the western side of the City is the Lilongwe bypass road. This will be through next year The heart of the City named the City Centre boasts of a dual carriage highway called the Presidential Way. It stretches 6 kilometers from the New Parliament Building to the State House which is the residence of Malawi’s President.
Along this road lies the New Parliament building which is a symbol of good governance for Malawi. The historic mausoleum for Malawi’s first President Dr. Hastings Kamuzu Banda famous for leading liberation of Malawians from federation of a British rule in 1964 is just next to Malawi parliamentary building. Once again welcome to the website.
